Why I created Happy&®

I created Happy&® because I saw there is a gap no-one is naming, the cost of quietly coping for capable people.

We talk about burnout. We talk about thriving. But there is very little discussion about what sits in between them. Where life still works, but holding it together is draining more energy than it should.

I recognised this because I have lived in it. Outwardly capable, internally carrying more than I admitted. I saw how little existed, so I built something deliberate.

Accessible, precise, and grounded in evidence. Not motivational. Not dramatic. Not a gimmick. Just clear way to notice what has quietly become normal.

The Happy&® briefings are a series of short psychological reflections hosted inside a private online platform. They are delivered as concise audio sessions, each one isolating a common pattern that high functioning people normalise in order to keep on going.

Each briefing isolates a pattern that capable people often normalise in order to keep life working. They are concise, typically under 5 minutes and you can listen privately at any time.

You can access reflections on patterns such as:

How it works.

the patterns that are quietly costing them. When a pattern is named precisely, the mind shifts from automatic to conscious.

That shift alone increases choice.

Each briefing isolates one common pattern such as over responsibility, constant vigilance, or difficulty resting. By hearing it described clearly and without judgement, you begin to see where it shows up in your own life.

This approach draws on evidence that self awareness and accurate labelling improve emotional regulation and agency.

That awareness reduces internal load. From there, small changes become possible.

I’m Anna. I’m a positive psychologist MSc and EMCC accredited coach practitioner with a background in national health policy and consulting. My work centres on what happens before things fall apart, not after.
